Social Impact & CSI Programmes

TNE Agri Group’s social-impact initiatives are implemented through the TNE Agri Group Foundation, our dedicated non-profit and CSI implementing partner.


These programmes are designed to strengthen food security, build skills, support enterprise development, and contribute to resilient local economies across Africa.​

All programmes are delivered using a Theory of Change framework, ensuring accountability, measurable outcomes, and long-term sustainability.​​

ABV Family Programme

(Families and Households)

The Agribiz Village (ABV) Family Programme focuses on strengthening household and community-level food systems.

 

The programme equips families with practical skills in food production, resource management, and basic enterprise thinking.

 

Through backyard gardens, homestead production, and community plots, households are supported to improve food security, reduce vulnerability, and participate in local food networks.

 

Key focus areas include:

  • Household food production and nutrition

  • Skills transfer and practical training

  • Waste, water, and energy awareness

  • Restoring dignity and self-reliance at family level

NoluGrow Programme

(Children and Youth in Agriculture)

The NoluGrow Programme introduces children and young people to agriculture as a pathway to learning, innovation, and future livelihoods.

 

The programme combines practical growing activities with environmental education and entrepreneurship awareness.

NoluGrow aims to nurture a new generation that understands food systems, sustainability, and the value of agriculture in society.

 

Key focus areas include:

  • Early exposure to agriculture and food systems

  • School and community-based growing initiatives

  • Environmental awareness and stewardship

  • Youth skills development and agri-entrepreneurship mindset

Invest in AgriSA

Programme

The Invest in Agri South Africa Programme supports the development of inclusive agricultural value chains by strengthening farmer capacity, aggregation systems, and market access within South Africa.

 

The programme brings together producers, enterprises, investors, and partners to unlock agricultural potential and enable sustainable economic participation.

 

Key focus areas include:

  • Farmer development and enterprise readiness

  • Aggregation and market access models

  • Investment-aligned project structuring

  • Strengthening local and regional food economies

Invest in Agri Namibia

Programme

The Invest in Agri Namibia Programme adapts the Invest in Agri model to Namibia’s agricultural and economic context, supporting sustainable production, enterprise development, and regional trade.

The programme focuses on building resilient agricultural systems while linking producers to markets and investment opportunities across the value chain.

Key focus areas include:

  • Context-specific farmer and enterprise development

  • Market linkage and trade facilitation

  • Cross-border value chain opportunities

  • Sustainable agricultural growth and food security

AgriVillage Food Network SA Programme

The AgriVillage Food Network SA Programme  focused on building connected, resilient, and inclusive food systems at local and regional level.

 

The programme links households, farmers, aggregation hubs, agro-processing enterprises, and markets into coordinated food networks that improve food security, strengthen local economies, and enable broader market participation.

 

Key focus areas include:

  • Linking households and smallholder farmers into local food networks

  • Strengthening aggregation, storage, and distribution systems

  • Supporting agro-processing and enterprise development

  • Enabling access to local, regional, and institutional markets

  • Contributing to South Africa’s long-term food security and economic resilience

AgriVillage Food Network Africa Programme

AgriVillage Food Network Africa Programme is a continental initiative focused on building connected, resilient, and inclusive food networks across Africa.

 

The programme links households, farmers, aggregation hubs, enterprises, and markets into coordinated food systems that support food security, trade, and economic inclusion.

 

Key focus areas include:

  • Building interconnected food networks

  • Regional aggregation and distribution systems

  • Intra-African trade and market access

  • Advancing Africa’s shared food-security vision
